Last checked: October 14, 2026 · By Feedback Guru · Prices in USD. Every figure links to where it came from.
Short answer: Podium does not publish prices. Its pricing page says plans are "designed to fit your specific business needs, talk to our sales team for details" (Podium pricing page). Third-party reports put Core at about $399 per month and Pro at about $599 per month, with Signature by quote. Podium's own terms set a 12-month initial term that auto-renews.

Reputation Insider (updated August 31, 2026) is an independent reputation-management publication. WiserReview (updated August 27, 2026) sells competing review software and says its figures come from user reports, not official pricing. At the reported Core price, a year is $399 × 12 = $4,788 before usage fees.
What Each Plan Includes (as reported)
- Core: lead consolidation, review management with AI responses, website chat, one-to-one texting, text marketing, basic automation and reporting, AI suggested replies and access to Podium integrations (Reputation Insider).
- Pro: adds surveys, more advanced marketing, customer segmentation and additional AI and automation features (Reputation Insider).
- Signature: for broader deployments, priced by quote (Reputation Insider).
- AI Employee: Podium's pricing page says you can add it to any plan; its price is set in the quote (Podium).
Podium's product list covers reviews, phones, lead consolidation, website chat, a shared inbox, payments, text marketing and automations (Podium). You are buying a communication platform, with reviews as one part of it.
Contract Terms and Hidden Costs
These come from Podium's standard Terms of Service (Podium legal). Your order form can differ.
- Term: "the initial term for any Subscription to the Services is twelve (12) months."
- Auto-renewal: it "will automatically renew for subsequent periods of equal duration" unless either party gives written notice of non-renewal at least thirty (30) days before the end of the term.
- No mid-term exit: the client "cannot cancel or terminate a Subscription Term except as expressly permitted."
- Price increases: Podium may raise fees on forty-five (45) days' written notice, effective at your next term, and may update usage rates on thirty (30) days' notice.
Usage fees reported by WiserReview (source):
- Extra phone numbers: $5 per month each.
- 10DLC texting compliance: $5 per month per US location (Podium's pricing page also refers to a "base 10DLC fee").
- Podium Phones setup: $500 one-time per site.
- Phone seats: $30 per user (1–4 seats) or $25 per user (5+ seats).
Who Podium Suits
Podium fits businesses that will use the texting inbox, phones, payments and lead handling every day, where it replaces several tools. For a business that only wants more Google reviews, a 12-month commitment at the reported prices buys a lot of software you will not use.

Feedback Guru: the simple, low-cost option (our product)
Feedback Guru is our product, so weigh this section accordingly. It is not a like-for-like replacement for Podium. It does one smaller job: it gives each business location its own review link and QR code, so you can ask every customer for a Google review in person, on receipts or in your own messages. Customers who open the link can leave a Google review, and can also send you a private message if they want to tell you something directly.
- Free plan: your review link and QR code, at no cost.
- Pro, $19/mo per location: all private feedback history, instant alerts, no "Powered by Feedback Guru" badge, and email review requests with up to 2 automatic reminders.
- What it does not do: no SMS sending, no AI review replies, no integrations, no review widgets, no listings or social tools, and Google only. We can see when customers click through to Google, not how many reviews they post.
If those limits are fine for you, it costs a fraction of the tools on this page. If you need the extras, one of the other options is the better buy. Start on the free plan.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Podium cost per month?
Podium does not list prices; its pricing page says to talk to the sales team. Third-party reports put the Core plan at about $399 per month and Pro at about $599 per month, with Signature priced by quote (Reputation Insider, WiserReview). Usage fees such as texting can add to that.
Does Podium require an annual contract?
Podium's standard Terms of Service say the initial term of a subscription is twelve months and it renews automatically for the same length unless either party gives written notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before the end of the term. The terms also say a subscription cannot be cancelled mid-term except as the agreement allows.
Can Podium raise its price at renewal?
Yes. Podium's Terms of Service allow it to increase fees with 45 days' prior written notice, effective at the start of your next subscription term, and to update published usage rates with 30 days' notice.
What extra fees does Podium charge?
Podium's pricing page mentions a base 10DLC fee, Bulk Messages credits and an AI Employee add-on. WiserReview reports $5 per month per extra phone number, $5 per month per US location for 10DLC compliance, a $500 one-time Podium Phones setup per site, and phone seats at $25 to $30 per user. Ask for each to be listed in your quote.
What is a cheaper alternative to Podium for reviews?
If reviews are the main reason you are looking at Podium, NiceJob publishes plans at $75 and $125 per month and GatherUp at $99 per month for one location. Feedback Guru has a free plan and a Pro plan at $19/mo per location for a review link, QR code, private feedback, alerts and email review requests. None of them replaces Podium's texting inbox, phones or payments.

How we check these prices
We read each vendor's own pricing page and terms on the date above. When a vendor does not publish prices, we say so and quote third-party reports, naming and linking each one. Third-party figures are estimates from buyers and analysts, not official price lists, and some of those publishers sell competing software. Feedback Guru is also a competitor, so check the vendor's own quote before you buy. Spotted something out of date? Email hello@feedback-guru.com and we will fix it.
